Building a bonkers VMware test lab

The Register have done a nice piece on building a bonkers test lab; it includes virtualisation, shared storage, Intel VPro and other remote management, and discusses the difference between Drobo, Synology, or making your own homebrew iSCSI storage system with either Windows or Linux.

The thing I like best is the inclusion of a Seagate 3TB drive which is only £106.99 on Amazon. That’s a lot of virtual machines and backup space right there!
